The TANDANYA building is currently temporarily closed due to a number of internal issues which we are working to resolve.

During this period TANDANYA will continue to bring people and communities together to share stories and build connections, partnering with likeminded organisations and artists promoting First Nations arts and cultures.

BlakYard Picnic, produced by CARCLEW in partnership with TANDANYA.

BlakYard Picnic, held on Saturday 20th April 2024, will be an afternoon and evening event that activates the Carclew House and grounds, featuring music and dance performances as well as various arts workshops. There will also be food trucks, artist stalls and a mainstage with performance and dance.

Tjarutja Dance Theatre, new commission.
TANDANYA has commissioned Tjarutja Dance Collective to create a new dance piece to premier at BlakYard Picnic being held at Carclew house, 11 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide South Australia 5006 on 20 April 2024.

Guuranda – On Country Showing, By Jacob Boehme & Narungga Elders, presented by Adelaide Festival and TANDANYA

TANDANYA in partnership with Insite Arts and Adelaide Festival of Arts is ensuring GURRANDA – a Narungga Opera will be performed on Narungga Country where it originated. Working in collaboration with Insite Arts, the production is a large-scale contemporary theatre work conceived Jacob Boehme, in collaboration with Narungga Elders, community and a company of both professional First Nations and non-indigenous creatives.
